Tucked off the historic High Street, it promises tranquillity while keeping you within walking distance of shops, galleries, cafes, and pubs.
The Boathouse comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests (6 adults and 2 under-18s), with splendid river views enriching your stay. Two sitting rooms and three bedrooms all offer a waterside panorama. The open-plan kitchen, equipped with modern amenities, flows into a dining and living space adorned with French doors opening onto the jetty. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a book or observe the yachts as they grace the marina.
The bedrooms and bathrooms have been designed with privacy and comfort in mind. Whether you’re a couple seeking a tranquil retreat or a large family on a holiday, the flexible accommodation caters to everyone’s needs. For groups of 7/8, the studio doubles up as a bedroom, with its own bathroom and entrance, providing an extra touch of privacy.
Now, let’s talk about our four-legged guests. The Boathouse is dog-friendly and welcomes up to two well-behaved pets. While you relax and soak up the views, your furry friends can have their share of fun too. The enclosed patio, with its high wall and gate, is a secure spot for dogs to enjoy the outdoors.
We take pride in offering an experience that’s enjoyable for all our guests. Thus, we request that dogs are kept out of bedrooms and off the furniture. A short walk from the Boathouse, you’ll find a vast grassy area where your dogs can let loose and have some fun. An additional charge of £20 applies per stay for one dog, and £30 for two, regardless of the stay’s length.
